CARiD emailed that they are still waiting for approval for the $100 refund to keep the covers as is. But they also said that MGP told them they couldn't do the engraving in flat black with a gloss red caliper... That seems odd because Graygoose combined the flat and gloss paints in black on his, iirc.

True, I also wanted gloss black with matte black centers, but they said they cant, but can do matte black cover, gloss in center...so just reversed.
Im sure its just a way with the process, so sounds like same thing they told me.

We came to an agreement. A total of $90 compensation. $10 short of my $100, but still acceptable.
I have purchased from CARiD before and have had good experiences... I doubt that they made much more than the $90 on the order, if even that. Also, need to add that my email communications were with Julia Bara, and she was always very professional, helpful and courteous.

CARiD will definitely get my business when I am ready to order wheels and tires.
