So I was getting lunch today, and when I came out and got into my truck, turned it on. The gas gauge stopped working, said I was on empty, when i had just filled it up the other day. I got back to work, turned it off and then back on. then, BOOM, full tank again... Has this happened to anybody before? Is it just like a once in a blue moon kind of thing or will it happen more offen and what should I do?

Could be a short in the wire. Check the connections and the ground.

I had it happen once, but it was right after I put gas in. I didn't fill up, just got like $20, but when I cranked the truck the gauge didn't move and the fuel light stayed on. It slowly crept up some. When I got home I turned it off and back on and the gauge came back up like it was supposed to. Never had it happen again after that so I've just written it off as a fluke.

Haha it's the gas gremlins! They felt bad, so they put your gas back!

LMAO!!!! That's funny, I just bought the truck a month ago, so plans of adding and changing stuff is in progress.
