Engine light on

My diesel particulate filter was cleaning, on auto, the engine light came on. When everything was finished, the engine light stayed on but not as bright. Any suggestions on what this might be? I’ve disconnected both batteries and let it sit for over 30 minutes. Reconnected everything and the light is still on but very dim. I have a 2019 2500

Stopped at auto parts store...no code was read, zero, nada. I’m at a loss so trying here.

with a 2019 CTD take it to the dealer, there are codes regular code reader can't read. Sounds like it's something with the emissions controls. This should still be under warranty.

And check the laws for your state as usually the manufacturer has to fix emissions problems long after the truck is out of warranty by the manufacturer.

No codes, not running funky, light on? Cover with tape if it is a pain to look at. JK, take to the dealer and have them run proper diag stuff.
