Engine replacement or Engine overhaul?

I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7l with 181,798 miles on it. I have a Chace to get a 4.7lL that has 71K on it and it has and (N) so my Vin has an (N) on it, so I'm wondering if I should buy this engine? Or just do and just do a complete engine overhaul or build my current engine?

I think it would depend on the price of the used motor and how long you plan on keeping the truck.That and the fact that it's a 15 year old truck.

Depends on the year the engine came out of. Dodge did some ******* around with the tone wheel counts in that engine family over the years.
