Engine wiring harness

It has been so incredibly difficult to find a full engine wiring harness for our 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 truck. I ordered a 4.7 L harness from a person on eBay and it ended up we needed a 5.7 L harness. They would not take it back. Is it possible for someone who knows what they’re doing to use that 4.7 L harness to build one for a 5.7 L engine? I know nothing about cars. I join the form so I can try to find out how to fix this truck. Squirrels ate the wiring in it.

MM didnt see that was on my phone when i was doing this before unless its like 100% shredded should still be able to replace some wires? if you cant get one

I'm like you,if he has 2 wiring harness's ,he should be able to build one harness out of the 2.Be just a matter of unwrapping both and using the wiring from the harness he's not going to use,to solder in replacement wiring into the harness he wants to use,which in all probability should be his original harness.

Thank you all!! Ordered the one from the above link. I think I might’ve put it in the hands of the mechanic that didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t care that much so now that we have the right harness we should be able to get it knocked out. Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

So that EBay seller cancelled my order so I still need to find one. Is eBay the best place to do that or are there other ways to find them?

Check car-part.com I did a search for 2010 Dodge Truck 1500 and several on there for the 5.7 engine.
