So I have an 07 ram 1500 and a guy from youtube said that a roots style blower for an 09 would fit with a retrofit kit. But Im also wondering if there is difference between the 09up 5.7 and the 06-08 5.7. Anyone got an idea?

Different intake. I found the thread on dodge talk once and I believe he said it cost upwards ok $10k. Not including the SC. Definitely not worth it when a procharger is $6k

Edit** I could be way off on the cost but I remember thinking it was rediculous

SO many differences. The block was redesigned for VVT, so cams aren't even interchangeable. To sum it up:
03-05 pretty much identical engine wise except for 03 not having EGR
06-08 (1500 only) pretty much identical to 04-05 except they have MDS. Also 2500/3500 engines do not have MDS
09+ eagle engine has VVT, MDS, completely different cylinder heads with 6.1 style ports/bigger valves/smaller chambers, intake manifold totally different with active intake.
It would probably be easier to get a blower kit designed for your engine
