Exhaust kit

Any opinions on this kit?

Only thing I don't like about that kit is that it is only 2.5" piping. That is actually smaller than the factory 3" pipe, so it is a restriction for the new 390hp hemi.

That's strange. MBRP is known for their diesel exhaust kits, but there aren't many gas trucks running them. I looked this kit up on Summit, AA, and a few other places, and they all list it as 2.5" piping. I just checked Jegs and they do list it as 3" as well. I tried to find it on the MBRP site, but they do not specify the pipe diameter.

I have the MBRP with dual pipes on my truck. It came with the truck
When I purchased the truck from dodge. Used of course but I think I get decent sound out of them, if there is a way to look, let me know ill let u know the diameter. 2010 crew with the 5.7 hemi. Should be putting the vararam on tomorrow when Santa comes aka ups man lol. Hoping vararam makes it a little louder too. Can throw a sound video on too

I heard a Tundra with a MBRP exhaust on it the other day, had a very nice tone to it.
I'm sure it'd sound great. I would make sure that it is a 3" system before I bought it though. (I have NO idea why they'd make a 2.5" system, it was likely a misprint in their information that went out to vendors)

I had a 4" MBRP on my Powerstroke and it had a horrible drone to it.

Thanks, it got a little throatier once I put the intake on but it sounded good before too.
