Exhaust tip question

Anyone running 45 degree slash cut exhaust tip? Would like to see pics if anyone can help me out. Thinking about putting cherry bomb 12'' long 4'' stainless tips on and getting rid of factory ones. The pipe is 2.25" right? Thanks

The ones i had found were more angled than the ones you have on your truck. I really like your tips. They look good! Just haven't seen anyone running the 45 degree slant cut tips, so i was curious to see what they would look like. I believe the ones that come stock and the ones you have are 15 to 25 degree maybe?

I'm wondering if having a 45 might play havoc on the rear bumper finish from the exhaust gasses when you are sitting still?

Not too far out would you even see them? If you push them out further to see the 45... would it then become a problem walking around the back taking a pipe to the knee?

i'm just not big on the rolled style tips. It seems that most the tips that are the right design for these trucks bumper are the rolled tip unless you go with a straight cut tip. Just exploring options is all. Been looking at different setups

You only have to worry about taking a pipe to the knee if you live in new jersey

I wish I only had to worry about taking a tail pipe to the knee, sometimes I almost get the trailer hitch haha

Well these are the tips i ordered just to see if i thought i would like the way they look on the truck. Plan is to hold them up tomorrow and make a decision. If i dont like them i will just return them. What are some of your opinions. Thanks

What size outlets? I bet they look bad ass I hate my roled edge stock tips.

4'' outlet My only concern is them not looking right with the bumper contour

Well I went ahead and installed the new tips! I think they turned out looking pretty good! They changed the exhaust tone a lil bit. The rolled tips had more of a rumble than these 45* tips put out. A much smoother sound than it was. Not sure if that is a good thing or not yet. I will have to drive the truck a while before i decide which sound i like better. Here is some pics

I never liked tips like that. You can hardly notice them when there dirty from behind because there so thin.

I love rolled tips, but that's just me.

Yah i was just wanting something different. I've never had rolled tips till this truck. I'll give the new ones a try for a while

Looks good, normally those slash cut tips look good on single exhausts but those look sharp.

Just a little update from having new tips on the truck for a day. I have noticed that the 30 mph lugging drone from the mds being on while driving thru the neighborhood isn't near as bad. Without that extra rumble the exhaust seems to be a lil quieter possibly. Still sounds good tho.
