I'm looking into upgrading my exhaust.
I have a 2017 1500 Crew Cab 5.7 Hemi w/ oem dual exhaust.
I wanted to increase performance and sound.
Would any of you be able to make some suggestions?

Short of headers, exhaust gains are going to sound better than perform.
OEM piping into single in, dual out muffler has good volume for stock engine. The Y pipe is awful but unless you are pushing a lot more air in, it wont matter that much coming out.
The OEM muffler is huge, heavy, chambered and too quiet. So a free/direct flowing muffler will make a little improvement and sound far, far, better.
I like Magnaflow, but Carven and Borla are popular. Both Magnaflow (Mufflex) and Carven are available in pre-configured DIY bolt in kits.
Some folks seriously love their Flowmasters, but I don't because they are chambered and therefore apt to drone when MDS cuts in--but the guys who have them love them.
You can also spend bigger green ($$$) on a new set up from catalytic converts all the way back, but that's more than you need to do (IMHO

) .
Exhaust is a really personal taste decision and you will probably get answers from all over the spectrum......................
Stand by for incoming...
