Exterior Lights Only Turn Off in Auto

So it's pouring yesterday. I get out of my truck, flick my lights to the O position and open my door and my idiot light goes off saying that my lights are still on. WTF?

I get out, sure enough, still on. It's as if it's in the Parking Lights setting. I flip it to auto, they turn off.

Thought it could be cause I have auto-on headlights with wipers, but I toggled wipers on/off, no dice. Toggled the setting in EVIC, still no dice.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem for awhile. I then purchased the cab marker lights from Mopar Accessory website and had my local Ram dealership install the lights. After the install, my headlights stayed on, even in the parking / marker light position. When i brought the truck back to correct the issue, they told me the "computer programming for the light settings just needed to be reset"........ blah blah blah

Not sure if this helps, but thought I'd share.
