I'm now a member of the 5th Gen club due a driver failing to yield (no injuries). I had a 17 Limited with only 45k miles on it. Insurance settlement was $3k less than I bought it for in 2017. So I can't complain to much I guess (all things considered). Also, everyone get a dash camera! Removed any he said/she said/etc. No injuries

Holy cow, so glad you are all ok, I've been wanting dash cams for all our vehicles but I've been too cheap. This has convinced me!

That hurt me just watching it.

I want a dashcam, but when i am working, the police could use it against me. I make illegal Left Turns against the signal light quite often, sometimes Law Enforcement is working with us, holding traffic back

So I didn't disclose I had the camera or the footage. After I made sure everyone was ok I pulled it down and put it in my pocket. I wanted to be 100% sure what happened before I offered it up. Didn't need to offer it up, but had in case I did.

They wouldnt be able to touch it without a warrant. I doubt theyd even consider taking it unless it was a F or serious injuries.

Ouch. Trucks/vehicles can be replaced, PPL not. Glad all OK. On the video, keeping, all good. Best safe than sorry.

Damn, just right out of frickken nowhere. Stupid idiot. That sucks man. Glad you had that dash cam. Although it looks pretty cut and dry who was at fault and what happened but at least that camera showed your light was green and they just came right out of nowhere. What happened to the driver of the car?

I was wondering that too. I hope no one was sitting on the passenger side of that car.
