Towed my first trailer with my 2016 1500 bighorn cc last night. I looked at the window sticker, and it says it has trailer brake control. My past experience has been that there is a separate control under the dash panel. There is no such thing on my rig. Is it integrated into the pcm? Because the trailer inwas towing is a 22' tandem axle car hauler, with trailer brakes. It took less braking effort than ever to come to a stop...and it felt like the trailer was doing the braking. Can anyone tell me if the trailer brake controls are part of the pcm?
(The trailer is a 2000 lb unit btw)
And the hemi pulled it effortlessly!!

You probably have a controller. You should have set the brake controller setting. Search youtube for a how to video.

The controller is in the dash and it's intergrated into the pcm. You can crontol it in the evic and save up to 4 different trailers in the stereo also change from light hydrualic over elcectric it heavy over electric and from light electric to heavy electric. Its pretty sweet.

It sounds like you should turn the brake controller down a bit. You don't want the trailer to do most of the braking. When its set up right the truck should feel about the same braking with the trailer as it does empty.

Yep. This was one of my must have options when I bought my truck.
It's great to be able to adjust it from the steering wheel as well.
