Flowmaster 817568 install and review

I just installed mine last night. Sounds amazing and actually pretty quiet at highway speeds. Was super easy to install. The hardest part was getting the stock muffler off.

I love my flowmaster 40. I don't care if I am losing 50HP it sounds so nasty.

I get complements all the time on it. "Like ******** that sounds good".
Buddy at works says it sounds like thunder when I start it up..lol

I agree. Though that Carven muffler is kinda changing my mind.

Yes it does. It certainly is a different option for our trucks.

Yeah, that's very unique but to me it almost sounds like a V6.. I wish it was a little deeper sounding.

Really??? I don't think anything out there can make a Hemi sound like a V6 imo, check out their FB wall they have a few more clips of it!

I understand what you're saying. It doesn't really have that "nasty" sound like you want a truck to sound like. In my opinion it's a mix between a magnaflow and flowmaster. Not as super deep and aggressive as a flowmaster but more balls than the magnaflow.

Yeah, that's a good descriptions. Wasn't talking bad about muffler. Like I said it's very different from any HEMI I've heard but not sure if I like it.

LOL. Reminds me a 350/370Z with the VQ motor. Which btw sounds sweet.

Trust me I have nothing against V6 exhaust sounds, just look at grand prix in the sig..lol
