Can anyone school me on the differences between the different flow master super series mufflers? Looking at doing a new muffler and resonator delete kit and not sure what the difference is thanks

I have the super 10. It's very nice....but very small muffler. I kept my resonators and I'm glad I did as it's already loud as hell

I had the 10 and 40.

The 10 sounded great, it was extremely loud and cool. but however I picked up a side job delivering pizzas and it turns out people don't tend to tip you good when you're waking up the neighborhood. So I put on the 40 which was still a great sound just wasn't as loud.

But in the end I took that one off and switched to an mangaflow 18 to get better exhaust flow. They don't sound nearly as good but I hated all the drone of the flowmaster

I never did like the 10's on the Challenger but find the 40's a decent sound. I will say I prefer MagnaFlow over Flowmaster.

Love my 40, sounds so nasty. I also have the resonators removed.

I like a loud exhaust. But I have a wife and a newborn so it can't be way over the top loud

I ran a 40 series, super 10 series and now a super 40 series. Super 10 by a far is the loudest out of the 3 that you listed and for me was louder than my strait pipe. I much prefer my super 40 though... it's just the right amount of sound - not to loud and not to quiet. When you step on it you know it's there.

Wonder if its cause the position in the system, aren't the mufflers at the rear valance on the Challenger?

I run the Super 10 no resinators and love how it sounds and get compliments on how it sounds all the time and other Ram owners asking how I got it to sound like that. But I like loud exhaust.. My daily driver in Highschool was a 67 mustang with a big cam and ****** full lengths with purple ***** glasspacks bolted right to the headers and thats it... LOUD as hell. Couldn't even sneak up on the dead or out of the house for that matter to chase the **** around town

I bought my truck when my girl was born a few years ago. She falls right a sleep in it. The drone is not that bad in cab.

Just get the 10. Then you don't have to worry about buying one of the others and it's not loud enough. And magna flow exhausts are for gramps down at the bingo hall.

I have a video of mine up on youtube....and I posted it here somewhere. If you search my posts I'm sure you'll find it. The Super 10 sounds amazing!!! I turn heads all the time...and IMHO it's how a truck SHOULD sound.
