I just got the truck a few months ago and want to change the fluids but I have a few questions.

The rear diff doesn't have a drain or fill plug on the cover, I just want to make sure this is where I drain (red) and fill (green):

The front diff looks different than what I expected, same question do I have the drain and fill correct here, and do you normally not take the cover off on this type:

For the trans, I need to know if I have a deep or shallow pan for the filter kit. How can I tell, can I measure something? Anyone add a drain plug to the pan?

Thanks for any help

Typically, your images are correct. You'd want to drain low and fill high. As for the transmission pan, I'm not sure. Have you looked for the answer in your owners manual by chance?

I didn't think the owners manual would have the transmission pan info, but I'll take a look when I get home. Thanks.

Just a small tip----I always take the fill plug out first before the drain plug. I do that just in case you drain the fluid first and then for some unknown reason you can't get the fill plug out. Sometimes I do other weird **** to---LOL
