I have a 19 classic ram 1500. While driving down the road fog lights seam to jiggle. Is this just a normal thing on these trucks? I’ve read earlier models had a fix but I’m surprised that mine would still have this issue.

Just had mine replaced under warranty just a bad design really... you can tighten the adjuster wing nut up 1/4 turn at a time to get a little slack out till you have them replaced which is the best option while still under warranty.

Obviously if it is under warranty I would go that route, but I have watched a video where a guy drills a small hole through the mounting bracket a used a cable tie. Worked really good but I would check with the dealer first. Good luck

We certainly understand why this would be concerning, Imprtkllrz28. We recommend addressing this with your servicing dealer if you have not done so already. We are just a PM away if you are in need of any extra support for that process.

You should have the redesigned ones, but I'd take it in under warranty as maybe something else is the problem...

Yeah take it in. Shouldn't have that issue.

Took to dealer today. They tightened down the adjustment wing nut and called it good. Now both fog lights aimed all the way down. Looked under truck at fog light and found issue in 5 minutes. Torx head bit and plastic washer on side of fog light is loose and stripped out causing light to wiggle around. Very disappointed with service at my local ram dealer and untrained service technicians.

had the same issue on mine when I bought it. Put in a replacement set of lights from Amazon and no more jiggle.

Fog lights did the same on my 16 Sport. Ended up being the housing is just made of plastic that wore down. Used zip ties to add support and prevent any movement. Kind of sad that this is even an issue in the first place.

Dealer fix was replacement assembly-way too expensive for me: I took two one-foot lengths of solid copper wire stripped from a cable and wired the adjusting cradle tight to the assembly. Cheap fix with no bounce or jitters.
