Anyone have a video or link to removing these the right way? Got all my black badges and am ready to swap. I found vids on the side emblems. But the ram heads I'm not sure

I'm doing mine later today. I was going to use fishing line to pop back one and front I was going to remove grill and then try to push snaps on backside of grill until it pops off. Fingers crossed lol

Front has adhesive and clips, rear has just adhesive (and locator/centering pins). Above reply has the right idea. Applying some heat helps too...

Is grill removal needed or can I just force off ?

It would be easier to remove the grill, but I believe you can reach the clips with it still attached. The grill comes off fairly easily.

I remember my badge in the grille was a real pain I had to unsnap all the clips at the same time to get that damn thing out, when I poped one out then try another the other one that was out kept going back in I had finally put paper clips under each one as I went but that's on a 3/4 ton might be a lil different

It is the same and a pain in the rear end. You get one out and go to the next and the one you got out pops back in.
Most definitely take the grill off. Four screws on the top and just pull on each side of the grill to unseat and it's off; takes 5 minutes. I've taken mine off so much from dealing with headlights that I should write a book. Also, you need to remove the little shield over the screws but that is held on with push clips. Just use a screw driver or if you have a panel clip remover. Place a cloth under it so you don't scratch any paint on the outer most clips; over the headlights.

Front and back done. Front I just took grill off and popped out. Back I used screwdriver and pryed from all four corners then pulled by hand once loose. Then cleaned surface and applied new ones.
