Garage door opener

I have a 2017 express. So my overhead doesn't have any garage door buttons. So my question is can they somehow be added? Thanks in advance

If you already have the upper console (but without Homelink) you can replace it with one that has it. Plug and play installation.

Make it so its only powered when ignition is on. Keep pesky burglars out of your garage.

This guy is too rough to be working on something like this
The plastic parts in the overhead console are somewhat fragile

First thing he should have purchased a Plastic Trim Kit, they are very useful on our Rams interior & under the hood

When he is trying to program the Homelink to work & is having troubles.
You can expect the same thing to happen when you attempt it

Remember the 09 to 12 trucks use a different module than the 13 to 18 up and Classic.

Its from a volkswagen.

Just troll a junkyard and find the thinnest homelink you can find in a visor. I think the visor cost me $5.

Be sure to take as much harness as you can. Its only 2 wires + and -. Hook that up to an ignition source

these units have three wires comin gout form them on my 2018 , black red and orange

I assume the black is ground

Do you know what the red and orange go to, red is probably hot and orange is switched hot?

Any help is appreciated
