Mine got 14.5 average on the last fill-up with a 50/50 mix of city and highway. The EVIC average was about 1.5 mpg optimistic. Best I've gotten going 65 was around 18 on the instant mpg. But its only got 460 miles on it and it rarely goes into ECO mode. It wouldn't go into ECO at all on the highway for the first few hundred miles.

For some reason mine loves the ECO mode and turns it on a lot. I have 580 miles so far and averaging about 15MPG combined.

My last tank was 11 mpg with mostly all city stop and go and romping on it cause the new dumped exhaust. Getting on the highway tonight my average mpg went from like 13.2 to 12.7 cause I went WOT from 45 to 70 lol. But then it went back up to like 13.5 when I got home after cruising for like 10 miles. I just reset a day or 2 ago and have barely driven since so I don't think it's locked in yet

I hope it gets better !!!

Right now, I have 1633 miles on mine, and this past weekend, I made a trip towing my boat, and one without.

Towing a 3300 lb boat 133 miles @ ~ 65 mph highway, with about 15% city below 35 mph, I averaged 10.6 (evic said 11.8).

Not towing, I drove 448 miles @ 70 mph ave, but ~ 25% of it was very hilly, and maybe 30 miles of in town stop & go with some very steep hills, I averaged 16.9 (evic said 18.1)

Normal daily driving (when I use it for that) is all stop & go, and I am averaging 10-11 mpg at best. I don't wring it out, and honestly I'm not even on the throttle as hard as I was with the chevy, but the mpg ain't really no better.

Now, these numbers are on par with the chevy I traded in on it based on the speeds/terrain, but still, I expected better than this. Best I ever got with the chevy was 19.2 highway, and I do feel if I had a highway trip with no hills, I could probably get that with this one.

True, since it isn't really any worse than the chevy, and I did pick up another 90 hp, and tons more comfort and features/room, it's kinda a wash.........but still......kinda disappointed right now. Especially when I can't even spin the tires for some satisfaction !!!!!!!

I'm also not real fond of the EVIC accuracy either, as on the chevy, it was always within .2 mpg of doing hand calcs, but this one seems to be off ~ 10% most of the time.

on a trip to st.pete, florida (450 miles from south carolina), i averaged 20.1mpg.
doing 75mph on the interstates, and 60mph on the "back roads"
so its possible.

Same here. Highest I ever got was around 21mpg I think. 260 mile trip, highway, n back roads

Haha.. Yea these guys must not know that secret. If you hit the reset button while at speed and no throttle our trucks can awsome on gas. I do this all the time and have been seeing almost 100mpg mixxed driving. I think some hoodlums are stealing my gas though because I still need to refill every two weeks for some reason....

Well I commute to work on my bike most days so that helps, but driving my mountain bike three-four days a weeks burns quite a bit of fuel...

I wish my mpg would go up. My commute to school is around 30 miles round trip with around 25 of that being highway for 4 days a week and then wherever I drive on the weekends and I only get like 14 and fill up every 7-10 days

Seriously? In my Gen3 4.7 I am averaging 16.5-18mpg when I drive to work, 30 miles each way and like your commute it's about 5 miles city/25 miles hwy. In July when we went on vacation, I got up to nearly 22MPG driving hwy up to the lake.

I can get good mileage(19+) on long trips but it has to be constant cruising for a good 50+ miles to get it. On these pretty short highway trips it just doesn't lock in like it does on the long trips. Like this tank that I filled up thursday afternoon my evic was reading around 18 on my way home but once I got home and then later that night went and got food and some other stuff it was down to 14ish

I got 21.7 one a trip up to my sisters about an hour and a half away... My fiancés fusion only gets slightly better and my tuck is much more fun to drive..

I'm pretty sure mine would require an entire gallon to coast the full 12.42 miles down Pike's Peak...with wind to back....in neutral....with the engine turned off.

LoL

I get 23.7 on trips. 1400 mile round trip from Houston to Illinois I was getting 22.9. That was WITH OUT MDS mode. I find turning it off gets me 15mpg in the city with out trying. My foot is in this thing all day every day. That isn't and over statement. I really do tend to poop on every civic/mustang I see around. Well because I can. MDS to me is just a gimmick to try and lore in others as well as keep the EPA at bay. Just my opinion of course. With MDS I get 21mpg on just high way driving when I was heading up to fort worth awhile back. All I got was drone in the cab of it turning on and off not being able to make its mind up, turning it off on the way back I was getting 22.2 and it wasn't searching for gearing or trying to activate MDS mode every three seconds. No drone neither. Every time I step in the truck now into 6th she goes. Wish I could get a tuner to just turn it off completely with out having to do so every time I get in the truck. Oh well.

Just my .02

curious man... houston to illinois, how long did that take you... im looking at that same trip houston to chicago next summer

Mine also gets around 14 in town, but on a recent 1000 mile, all freeway trip to California and back I averaged 26 mpg on the way down (because I was drafting a semi the whole way on a 2 sec count) and then 23 on they way home.
