Looks good based on the pics. I'd run it any day. What do you have your backlash set at?

Also, what is your pinion torque-to-rotate?

I set it at .0006. and 20 in-lb

Im worried I was to close to the edge of the gears. Might just take off 0.0005 off the pinion and give it another try.

Im using a crush sleeve eliminator so makes these test much easier.

The crush sleeve eliminator is the only way to go. It makes gear setup so much easier and faster.

Did you set the backlash at .006 or .0006?

The specs from the service manual are
.005" to .008".

You are spot on with the pinion Torque to rotate.

LOL, one to many zeros... Y up its at 0.006.

Is 200ft-lbs good enough for the pinion bolt ?

210 ft-lbs is the spec but 200 ft-lbs will survive all day long. No worries. I have had to set them as low as 145 ft-lbs and those trucks are still rolling. No worries man.

Im just glad I pull the diif out for my 1st attempt. I think I would of lost my mind if I had to do this under the truck in the driveway.

Ive seen much worse patterns be whisper quiet and last forever. You can spend all day trying to get a perfect pattern but usually close enough is just fine.

I would have set the pattern a little deeper into the ring gear. The root of the teeth have most of the strength.

From what I see, if I was to be SUPER picky. I'd say the pinion is a little deep, and I'd shift the carrier over a little to get more bit into the ring gear. But that's only if I was being overly picky. I've seen worse patterns, and even run them worse in personal vehicles in the past. I'd button that one up and call it a day.

I dropped the pinion to 0.0005 under of what is printed on the pinion and seem to have a better looking pattern now.

Motive 4.56 gears,

Still debating what LSD to go with but Yukon seems to be the ticket.

Not sure why they list one for the 9.25ZF axle and one for the Chrysler 9.25 200$ difference but cant figure out why.

Trutrac seems to be the way to go man, I'm savin pennies for it now. Lookin forward to how you find the gear swap, no flies on you! I've been wanting to do it for a lot of years, but don't know if I'll bother now with the 8 speed swap on the brain...

Cool man. You will love the 4.56 gears in the RAM. It makes these trucks so much more enjoyable to drive. Every single RAM of mine has 4.56 gears except for my two Cummins powered trucks.
