Ok I'm ready to throw some gears at this truck. I have a 2012 and I was wondering what the opinions are for a 4.10 gear with some type of limited slip or locker. I have some factory 3.92 but with this one wheel peel it will just blow the tire off. There has to be some type of opinions out there by now.

The factory gears and limited slip unit are still the only option for the 2011-up trucks. If you already have 3.92's, I would just pick up a factory LSD and call it good. The difference between a 3.92 and 4.10 isn't worth the cost of the factory 4.10 gears IMO.

Be certain if you go any change rout you have a good install guy. If done wrong they can be LOUD! Or over heat and ruin everything. Stay with 392 you wont need to do the front just buy the LSD and get it done.

I don't have the 3.92 in yet. My truck has 3.55 with a open differential. When I put the stall in the tire frying got worst. I want to do 3.92 or 4.10 with a locker or some limited slip. So the only way to go with these truck gear wise is factory?
