Well I'm finally getting around to getting the truck inspected.(i bought it out of state). While it's there I have a literal list of issues for them to try to address. A few are on the issues page. Darkness made but some arent

Sunroof howl. My panoramic roof was dead quiet when I bought it. I actually drove a limited first that was noisy and had written it off and test drove this one up to 85 without a whisper. Over the last 2k it's going from a slight rustle to full blow howl. I've cleaned out the track dust wiped down the seals etc to no avai.

The air vent left of the radio sounds like it has loose plastic in it.

My outside temp sensor is about 10-15 degrees off (even when it's dark out so the plastic being hot won't affect it)

Pop when turning on uneven surfaces (I know about the fix )

My auto tilt mirrors don't go back to the original location when you shift into drive from reverse

All the trim around the grab handles is very loose. I've knocked them out multiple times in the rear

Poor ac performance.

Front end alignment - I have the service pkg so it's free but it's pulling hard left and causing edge wear.

My polished wheels have corrosion building up under the clear coat

The foam pannel in the passenger side foot well is falling off and has to be repeated pushed up

I love this truck and hopefully most of this can be addressed easily. But this is a long list for only 3k miles

1st year of an american manufacturer. Nothing new. Most of these problems are fit & finish and initial assembly. Keep in mind that not only 2019 RAM 1500 is brand new platform it is also assembled on a new plant with newly training people...

I have limited on order and I fully expect to have some of these issues.

Wow, nice lil list. Good luck with all your issues...

REF AC, well that is a known diagnosed issue. I can tell you on trip, long rides AC decent,. On just run around town stuff, AC poor. I along with others have been to dealer and told AC within specs. It's that new refrigerant, just not as good as 134A or R12, TY EPA.

What is the pop on uneven surfaces you’re referring to? I here a pop sometimes but am unsure what it is.

+ 1 here. I just picked up my Laramie last Friday and one of the things I notice is a pop or maybe even more of a thump from the front suspension on the driver's side. It seems to be close to the footwell area. This is an occasional thing that I notice mostly at low speed and a tight turn (if not full lock) on a left hand turn with maybe a change in grade thrown in there, like pulling out of my driveway which is on a hill.

I've heard the same noise on my Rebel. I also heard it on two other's I test drove. A limited and a Longhorn. Wonder what is causing it?

With a brand new vehicle I go to the dealers in the middle of the day during the week and before I accept the vehicle I drive it off the lot and verify that everything seems to be working properly. If there are any problems then I get the sales person to write up the list of items to be corrected and have the work done in the service department before I drive the vehicle home. Once I take possession of a vehicle I own it and the problems are mine. Maybe the dealer and manufacturer will fix a problem or maybe, as with the air conditioning problems, they will ignore you.

An AC that only has to cool a truck cab and cannot do so was designed improperly. In all my trucks the AC was if anything too cold on its lowest setting. AC usually is fine with a sedan and under powered with a large SUV (which is why they will sometimes add a second unit for the rear passengers.

It is when I read about manufacturer and dealer push back with a customer that I become very reluctant to buy a new truck.

I bought a new 1500 limited on 10-5-2018 and have had it in the shop twice. The driver side air temp on an 84 degree day was 51 degrees. The passenger side was 44 degrees. I went to the dealer and the service manager said "you are right, lets test a new truck in the lot" We noticed the other truck was the same way. Both sides set to low and fan about mid speed. The service manager said I really don't want to do anything until I consult Ram. So far, I haven't heard anything. The second problem was the wipers stopped working while driving in a rain storm. After a couple minutes they started up again. Went back to the dealer and they found a code in history "Wiper park switch input short" They reset it and told me to use them and lets see if it happens again. This is my first Ram and I am disappointed that it is having these types of issues.
