Hey guy I'm Adrian... Just bought a 2013 Ram Quad Cab Sport Hemi 5.7L... Has propane conversion kit (hybrid)…

Coming from Fords I've done some wrenching before... My buddy made me an offer I couldn't refuse...

There's a catch... it has a misfire on cylinder 5... ya... a lifter and cam...


So I'm going to...

Buy cam/lifers... (checked amazon for complete kit)
Replace cam and lifers... Would like to setup live stream during disassembly... (you all can feel my pain)
Port & Polish heads... (since they are gonna be off... and I am Polish )


Was thinking about... MDS delete and doing cam phase lockout...


Open to ideas

Welcome, I for sure would like to see what and how you do the rebuild, are you going into the lower end, I would do the connecting rod and piston upgrades, I like short skirts but these engines don't, remember propane burns clean but offers no lubricity to valve guides.
