my buddy Chance dropped by about an hour ago and dropped off my brand spankin new 2012 ram 2500 front bumper. now to get a day to figure out bracket modification, and i'm good to go.

ok guys, got some pics uploading to flicker right now. taking a break after my first mock
up.

here you can see the difference in the bumper brackets. the old bumper mounts are 36 1/8'" wide. the new brackets inner most mount is 34 7/8 wide.

fortunatly mine cam with factory brackets, but some holes need to be enlongated so we can spread them apart a bit.

drill a pilot hole next to it, and use what ever you have to connect the two, i used a combo of cut off wheel and dremel

Way ti be innovative. I can appreciate the work you have into it, but I'm just not feeling it. Doesn't seem to flow well with the Gen2 curves. But like I said, not putting down the effort you put into it.

no worries, its not for everyone, but i own a white quad cab ram in oil country... i gotta do something to not look like a rig ride.

ok im hit a stopping point... im out of plate steel...need two L brackets. will have to wait a day or two till i can get to the supply place up the street.
