The look is amazing!

If you can fll that gap under the grill with a metal strip it will look fine. The sport grille is oval on the bottom and won't flow well with the flat top of the bumper.

Looks great......you could also use a LED light bar to fill the gap between the grille/lights and the new bumper. I agree the sport grille won't be right, so do something else unique!

Just a thought/question, with the brackets on the 4g bumper being offset the way they are, could you have swapped sides to have them sit wider apart without modification or would that not have worked? If this turns out fairly easy to do, I may have to give it a shot myself, so I figured I would ask.

the way the 4gen brackets are are proprietary to the side they are on, the bracket is contoured to fit the curve of the bumper. im thinking about some nice square driving lights to fit in the tow hook pockets, but haven't found what i want just yet.

well gentlemen, its done, permanently attached. a guy at the steel supply gave me a couple scrap pieces of 3/8" for free, and i went to town with my 3' cut off wheel and a hand drill...it took me 4 hours to cut out and drill the brackets. freakin nightmare with hand tools. next time i'll wait till the cnc machine at my little bros friends shop is fixed. my hands are killin me. gonna get a shower and tomorrow i'll run it through the car wash and get better pictures up. thanks for the support and patience. Beau

Turned out great!!! :peace: If you get a chance, would you mind getting some more photos showing how the sides line up, and what it looks like looking down from the grille? A shot of the brackets you fabbed would be cool also!

the front does have a gap between the grill and bumper, but the sport grill sticks out a bit more and should fill it in better

i used all factory mounting hardware on the bottom, and used 1/4" grade 8's to bolt on the bumper
