Hi, guys, I'm having an issue with engine codes, caused by the grid heater. First, the heater bolt is tight. Changed the relay, still getting codes. Pulled the wires from relay. Cleared codes. Drive truck 20 minutes, get a code. p0542, p0381. Both are voltage to high. How can that be with trigger wires on relay disconnected. I have not disconnected the main power to the grid heater. That's next. Thanks. I seem to get the weirdest issues.lol

How do you know the internal nut is tight on the stud for the grid heater? Unless you remove the plate to check it you can't tell from the exterior of the intake.

I guess it could be. All the youtube videos I've watched, if the nut is burnt, the wire hook up is loose too.
