Gun Rack?

What is the best made gun rack that fits a 2021 Power Wagon. Would like to have one that holds at least 2.

Excellent questions. Exactly what came to mind when I read post #1.

OP, we need a bit more info. Oh, mounting over the rear window may not work as the window seals and available channels are just not the same as they were back in the day.

What kind of gun rack you want, one for rifles? Just gotta do a google search. I found all kinds of gun racks. I'm sure your PW is a crew cab, correct? I don't think they make a PW in a regular cab or a mega but there's this one that mounts to the roof over your head between the tops of the B pillars but after a quick chat with that site, they said they can't verify that it fits anything other a 2019-2021 Ram 1500 but unless I'm mistaken, all the crew cabs ought to be the same whether its a half-ton or a HD. You'd just have to get with the manufacturer to verify it would work in your PW.

There's this one too that mounts on the floor behind the driver seat.

This one mounts between the front seats off an apparatus that hangs off the top of the seats.

Just have to look around.

The ones I have found online mount between the posts between the doors. I am tall and there is not enough space for one above my head. I was thinking if I could find something similar that would mount farther back above the rear seat it might work but I haven't seen anything like this. as far as types of guns ar, lever guns, pump shotguns I would like it to be versatile.

Long gun/Shotgun? If you have a RamBox, there is a kit. There is this: https://www.du-ha.com/catalog/produ...500-3500-quad-cab-crew-cab-03-17/category/71/ It does have application limitations. Unless you're looking for something for quick access, a few other companies make such things. Not a whole lot of room in these cabs for much of anything. I use locking gun cases and place in the RamBox and on back seat and throw something over them. Transporting firearms is another factor to consider too. We are in perilous times.

They also make a version of this that is completely enclosed as part of the seat covers so you can't see the guns from outside. Makes it look just like a normal back on a set of seat covers. There is also a version that has a single gun sleeve on the front of the seat cover, right behind your legs, you can slide it out from either side, picture below is a one sided version, when you step out of the truck. Best solution I have found for out of the way but still handy.

Just some upfitter mounts. My old agency had a rack that allowed storage of a shotgun across the edge of the front bench seat. Probably would not work with buckets..

Well talked about topic in other posts. I’m sure a few guys will put some pics in for you to see but you need to be more specific.

When I owned a PW I had a few places for different items.
There is a company for a lock box that mounts under the /20 seat of you don’t have buckets, sure they make them for the center console anyway but that’s good for hand guns and what ever.

behind the rear seat is good for long gun storage if you have the seat mod done and don’t have baby seats in your truck. Not good if you need it while driving.

Besides that how visible do you want to be? You can put a gun anywhere in the truck ect..

I carried in those locations and others before. I also have a decked system and when I’m working my seasonal business will have a dozen of so in them at a time.

Lots of option just need to know what you are really looking to do ?

Also, LLBean used to carry that model too. If you Google Seat Cover Gun Carrier a whole raft of options will show up. I have had mine custom made locally for decades by the place that makes the Western Saddle Blanket type seat covers but they are now readily available commercially.

There’s this one that’s for under the back seat. I believe this ones for a 1500 so you’ll need to make sure it matches your model. Comes with a few gun hooks and they claim it’s good for one rifle w a scope and I guess another rifle/shotgun with no scope. Haven’t tried it yet so I can’t vouch but seems to be the best option for me based on research.

Check legalities for your home State, gun racks have been made illegal in some areas, fyi. Also, depending on the firearms, Cabelas always has a selection of interior based racks for pickups as well as the awesome finds already posted here (that MOLLE rack is tops!!)
