Hey guys. I was looking into getting some Spyder LED halos for my 2012 Ram 1500. Was wondering if anyone has these? If so, your thoughts? Likes? Dislikes? They look simple enough to install. I saw one video the guy said ya have to get some anti-flicker switch or something? I know dodges don't like HID lights too much but how about these? Any and all comments and opinions appreciated.

I had a set of aftermarket light's like this and they were total junk. They didn't produce hardly any light through the projectors, although they looked good, they didn't perform.

I and some others have these. I think just about all of us are doing the retrofit on them as their output is limited.

Take the headlights apart and change out the projectors with a better one. There is a thread on how to do it and how it came out. The individual used some $40 projectors and got some great results...

Here's my issue. I'm having my factory fog lights replaced with Ridged 2x2 square lights. 4 lights total, 2 spot and 2 spread. The light they put out is not only bright but high on the Kelvin scale (as you guys already know) My factory headlights are low on the scale and give off a warmer light than my new ridged lights will. I want my headlights and new fog lights to put off the same "temperature" light.

Go take a look at my "spyder budget retrofit" build thread. Great lights, but any "eBay" projector won't have that nice sharp cutoff, and the output that you get with higher dollar housings. Retrofitting them with a better projector is the way to go, and a LOT cheaper than the factory route
