My parts came in from JJ a few days ago.
I have my spare dual headlights. (I like the look > the quads personally)
Got the projectors, Bulbs, Ballasts, Sealant everything waiting to go.

I've heard anywhere from 250° to 270° and 7 to 10 minutes...

Whats the best way to deal with the 6-7 perimeter clips on these darned things. The Gen 2 lights I took apart had only 4 clips, very easy to handle.

Anything to be sure and avoid (other than touching the housing fresh out of the oven)?

Thanks in advance!

I think it was 250 for 7 minutes. Or at least that's wat it is for the 02-05 headlights.

Droid Incredible 2 on the move!!!

I thought it was 250° for 15 min or until they start to come apart. Can't hurt to keep on checking them.

Good luck. I'd never do it myself.

JJ makes money baking and retrofitting. No fail on his part. He's been great on everything so far.

I know I have a set of his lights. Lol.

LOL, can't give away all the trade secrets here fellas. :D

BUT.......250 for 18 minutes man. Trust me. Then use a small screwdriver to get the 2 plastic clips pulled away (the ones on the side), then go around the entire headlight with the screwdriver to loosen up the sealant. Then..........have fun rippin' into it.

Please take your time! Don't be surprised, I guarantee you will need to bake it at least 2x on the first one........and if not........well.......you suck. LOL 2nd one should be better, the 168th is the best. :D

18 minutes?! I had it in there at 250° for 10 minutes and the housing started to melt the cookie sheet! ********! I'm guessing this stove is hotter than 250 when it says to 250. I'll lower it a smidge and try again (This is attempt 2 already)

I put mine on a silicone sheet on a cookie sheet. Never came close to melting one.......and I left one in there for 35 minutes once (forgot to set the timer!) :insane:

I'll post the pictures! I don't have silicone sheet though, just a non stick cookie sheet.
