Thanks for the info on the D2S.

On the quad lights, the H1 still needs to have the H11 hole bored out. Its fun. :D

Lights look GREAT man!

HKKid, I scuffed with a scotchbrite pad, no sanding. Nothing sticks well to shiny smooth surfaces.

Thanks for all the kind words fellow Rammers. I'm really happy with them. Unfortunately, when I epoxied the pass side projector, it was off about 2° or so, it's only notice-able on a wall or the back of a box truck, but it still annoys me. I might 'make another' to fix it. Time will tell.

Last night was the first 'installed' run with them. I need to work on getting the aim just right, but overall, they are badass! I love having TONS of bright yellow light infront of me. It's GREAT!

I highly recommend HID Projectors to everyone, I also highly recommend letting JJ deal with the retrofitting! Without his help I'd've been screwed, but even with it... UGH! What a PITA!

lol thats why he did mine. I'd never be able to do it. I'd end up spending more than I'd save doing it myself.

So does the chrome-bleach trick work on all plastic materials coated in chrome, if so any idea what would work for putting my grill in to get rid of the chrome?

Likes look awesome, does that projector offer high/low beam function?

To the best of my knowledge, any chrome plated plastic will come clean with bleach. My knowledge is however very limited on this topic.

I'm really a fan of how the lights look, unfortunately I epoxied one of the projectors in at a slight angle. It's not glaring obvious, but it annoys the **** out of me. When it gets warmer, I'll see if I can tweak it, otherwise I'll be redoing a pass side light.

Yes, the Morimoto D2S is a Bixenon projector. The lights have a nice wide pattern compared to the H1s my buddy has on his FJ Cruiser. My high beams also seem to be wider. Other than the install issues, I really like these projectors.
