Fill an appropriate sized vessel with bleach.
Place part in said vessel.
Wait.
Chrome disappears.
Remove part, rinse with water.
Prime / Paint and/or leave black.

lol thats why he did mine. I'd never be able to do it. I'd end up spending more than I'd save doing it myself.
So does the chrome-bleach trick work on all plastic materials coated in chrome, if so any idea what would work for putting my grill in to get rid of the chrome?
