Headlight switch wonky?

Guys, my 2015 ram 1500's display says lights on when I turn off the truck and open the door to get out. I have to turn it to auto position to get it to stop alerting me, and the display to read normal. This just started happening a month ago. What do I have to buy now for it? A new headlight switch? I just replaced my gear selector switch 3 months ago. What a pain.

Leave it in auto, I haven't touch my headlight switch other than to turn fog light on. I was hopeful they would eliminate the switch, headlights should be on 100% of the time in my humble opinion. At least then you could see the people that can't drive as they are coming at you.

Mine won’t go on in the dark, unless I move it back and forth, and then sometimes it will shut off in the dark.

Headlight switch. Mine shat the bed a few years back, went very intermittent. Auto worked ok but normal on positions did not. Acted like a worn-out trace on the circuit board.

I think it was around $50 for a new switch module. Hopefully not too much more $$ now.

Was super-easy to change out.

Update: 68269910AA was $63 in Nov. of 2020. is $97 now at RockAuto. Only a 50%+ price increase, prices have gone stupid.

FYI, that part # is for models WITHOUT fog lights.
