Figured I would add a few more photos.
Great price and free shipping.

I've always been curious... what's the use for these, other than mounting lights? Rear window protection?

Also can be used as a "roll bar" I guess. Not planning on rolling my truck. I want to mount a light bar to it. I don't really like the windshield mounted bars anymore. I don't want to deal with the noise and white trash look.

That price is for the kicker. The actual headache rack is sold separate and is a lot more.

I really like the chase racks like on the raptors but nobody makes them for ram. There is a local custom metal shop that does a lot of truck stuff and they can make one but it'll probably be a 2k...

I like the Fab Fours headache rack and then buy the additional Kicker but it inda looks to squarey for me, Like it doesn't really follow the body lines

These won't do anything in a rollover. Even if they were super strong, (they aren't), they would be limited in strength by the flimsy truck bed. A true roll bar would attach to the frame through the bed. Your cab is engineered to be way stronger than any of these.

I have seen some trucks rolled upside down and the cab still clasped in some but the headache rack saved it from completely pancaking. Saving a broken neck.

Not wanting to get into a ******* match, but nope. That was the cab itself. The strongest part of the cab is the C pillar, beefier corners and straighter alignment (90 degrees) to the roof. A pillars will collapse slightly. B and C less so. vehicles are designed to maintain the bubble of the passenger area without a roll bar.

I can see that. I legit roll bar is exactly how you described. Purpose built and mounted to the frame. I was just thinking maybe the headache rack might add some help. :)
