New here...obviously. I've been stalking the forums like all the other noobs before me. Anyways, I have never owned a dodge vehicle but have always quietly admired the trucks, and some cars haha. 0 mechanic skills but I learn by researching and at least trying until either 1. I am about to break it or 2. I am about to set fire to my truck. I bought a used 2011 RAM 1500 Quad Cab with the 4.7l engine, in the beginning of December 2015. Took me about 3 days to be introduced to a TIPM, what it was and what it did. Yeah, now I know why the person traded the truck in. So, stuck with the vehicle, I hit the search bar and landed in RAMFORUM a couple of times and just eventually began to like the "feel" and atmosphere. I acquired the simple fix of the fuel relay being stuck in the ON position but I wasn't satisfied because it was embarrassing having to prime the pump and still have it sound like it misses when starting up. Replaced the TIPM (got lucky and found a guy who sells remanned and warrantied TIPMs) This truck was completely stock when I got it, and it had the BIG horn package with all of the terrible chrome everywhere. I've done a lot of work, in a short amount of time, to this truck cosmetic wise and I have really enjoyed the process (first time for built not bought). Sorry for the long winded post, but thanks to you all who may read this and I look forward to being a part of this community. A quick before and after shot of my truck for your visual stimulation (personal opinion lol). Thanks again, guys!!
