Hello and question about install OEM Sirius

First i like to say hello to all.
I am new to this site.
Short to me, i am a German live in FL and in Germany.
I have a 2005 SRT10 Truck for more than 5 years.
And now i got a 2010 3500 Dually truck.

Here is my question a bout the 2010 3500

the truck has the Standart Radio in it with controls on the Stering.

i would like to upgrade to the OEM Sirius with touch Screen and HDD

if posibel with Navi and also i want to get the OEM Backup cam.

Can some tell me what is Need and where are the difernece in the the Radios / Nav.

You gonna do it yourself? I have known a lot of stereo installers, they can do just about anything. Here is an install on a ram, didn't show the instal just that you can do it. Or that isn't OEM, but it can be done. You just need a satellite kit if there isn't one already there, and the system itself. It is probably going to be a couple grand with the camera installed for OEM. This one has the back up camera as well. Good luck

If you are doing it yourself.

Updating the radio should be plug and play. The only things to keep in mind is if you get a 2012 model year radio it will need a security code put in when it is installed and for your model year Ram you will need a high speed canbus radio.

The Mygigs come in hi speed and low speed canbus.

You can find several rear camera installs here. If you go with the Mygig the truck will have to have the computer flashed to have the camera display.

Another thought, try to get a radio that was manufatured for model year 2011 or newer, better for updates. I believe the first 3 digits of the part number will be 509 (newer). You can also tell by which side the phone button and the voice command button are on. The newer radio should have them on the left and the older radios will have them on the the right
