Hellwig install (Lowered rear)

I have searched trying to find the install issues with the Hellwig rear sway bar on a lowered rear and can't find the thread.
I have the Ground Force rear 2" drop on a single cab express.
Who has installed these? The sway bar will have to be drilled since the rear is lowered, correct?

I've installed a rear bar on a lowered 4wd, only thing needed was shorter dogbones.

i dont think you have to drill it. it should have three holes already. just out with the old in with the new.

I have this exact set-up on my 2012 Express RCSB. GF 2" rear drop with Hellwig rear sway bar. The bar came pre drilled with 3 holes to adjust to your preference.

Did your Express have one from the factory? Is the hellwig an improvement from the stock sway bar?

The Express single cabs do not have a sway bar from the factory however the R/T models do.

What he said. No, my Express had no factory rear sway bar so I can't tell you if it is an improvement. However I will say that my truck handles quite well for what it is.

I have a 12 Express regular cab 4 WD and it came with a rear bar. I lowered it 2" in the rear and I just made shorter links.

The 4wd with a tow hitch is supposed to come with a rear sway bar, the 2wd typically doesn't.

I have a quad cab with factory sway bars swapped out for helwig front and back and lowered the rear over 2" with the rear sway bar set to the second hole, the bars are now angled down but she takes corners better than the stock stance so I am happy with how it is.
