I have a 2016 sport 5.7.40,000 miles。It will issue ticking when starting or leaving MDS.There is no sound when starting and idling, there is no fault code in computer detection.Mainly generated during the acceleration process. Moreover, there will still be irregular ticking when the MDS is turned off in manual mode,Listen carefully and there will still be irregular ticks.Sometimes you can hear it, Sometimes you can’t hear it 。I found a lot of repair shops. They said it was knock. I tried to change the better fuel but there was no improvement.I also changed the oil, Mopar's 5w20, chevron's 0w20 and Mobil 0w40, still unchanged.I think this is the noise of the transmission system, but every repairman told me that this sound will not cause any damage and I can ignore it. I just want to say that this affects the mood too much and feels that the vehicle will be damaged at any time.
And my car will hesitate and shake when it starts at low temperatures. Sometimes even a second start is required.
I don't know if they have any relationship before. I used TCP many times and nothing changed.
No professional after-sales, no warranty. Very headache. I hope everyone can give me some advice.
(I checked the metal clamp of the exhaust pipe and it was not loose. I almost checked every possible part of the screw and chassis, but there were no suspicious problems.)
So far, my car has three unsolvable noises. Turning the steering wheel, the airbag inside is noisy, and it costs $1,000 to replace it. I gave up. The air conditioner compressor has a slight howling, and the sound is not so large that there is no maintenance. Another one is this biggest ticking. After half a year after buying the car, the fan of the air conditioner began to show very loud noise. I spent $250 to replace it.
My evaluation of this truck is that it will not abandon you on the road, but you have been repairing its various diseases.
