Yesterday I purchased a 2014 Ram 5.7 Hemi with 26,000 miles on. Everything is stock and that includes the very basic stereo. I would like to replace it with another Ram stock stereo that has a cd player. Is that possible and if so could someone point me in the right direction. Thanks. Please stay safe.

I’m also new here but have done a lot of research on upgrading my 2014 Tradesman to accept an OEM backup camera. There were 4 OEM radios for our year and they are usually called RA1, RA2, RA3, and RA4. 1 is the most basic - maybe what you have. 2-4 are touch screen. 3/4 have a large touch screen. They are interchangeable but there are bezel/control issues if you go to one of the big touch screens. Also, there can be cross year and body style issues compatability issues. For example, I was trying to upgrade RA1 to RA2 but the 2016 RA2 I got had no volume control in my car. There are many threads on the forum addressing what you are trying to do. I believe none of the OEM have integrates CD players - it is an option you can add.

Hope this helps.
