I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 trx4 with the 5.7 and I have a ticking sound when I start the truck, after it warms up a little it goes away, I'm sure it's the right side exhaust manifold gasket but I'm unsure and was wondering if it needs to be fixed immediately and if anyone else has had this problem.

When it calms down when warm could mean lifter tick, I used Redline oil and mine went away as many board members as well. Mine sounded like a sewing machine and you can listen to link in my sig on how it sounds now, very smooooth. Other oils have worked as wellfor other members read synthetic oil thread, sometimes just switching to something different will work. If you change oil and it changes the characteristics of your tick at all, you know it;s lifter tick, or something internal. Get a fine spray sprayer and spray the exhaust manifold on idle, see if the spray blows near the manifold and that can possibly show exhaust tick. It isn't perfect science but these things you can do yourself cheaply before taking it in. Use your search function, many threads out there.
