It’s pretty easy to spot. Projectors are tiny little round bulbs and lenses that almost look like a mini spotlight and precisely focus the light beam. Reflectors are just a big lens/housing with shiny mirrors where the light bounces off from.

Anyways, all late model (past 2011 I believe) Sport Rams have the projectors so I’m almost 100% sure you have the projectors.

Here is a pic of a projector on my last Ram, a 2017 Sport

I have 5K LED’s in my low beams and 6K in my high. 5K is pure white (best IMO) and 6K has a slight tint of blue. Mine are quad style / open reflector headlights so I had to use the ‘regular’ bulb in lows but have the ‘extreme’ in my high’s (see pic’s below). The low beam fit behind the OEM dust cover no problem, but I had to order 85mm covers from Amazon for the high beam LED bulb.

With your truck, the projector style you can use micro extreme and the results will be similar to a 35W HID. Click the link and you can read up on the details yourself. 30 day money back guarantee if you do not like them + free return shipping. *Confirm for correct bulb*

1st pick is micro evolution 5K LED and 2nd micro extreme 6K (ideal for projector or high beam reflector only).

Headlight Revolution.com they have HID light sets just for the Ram truck because of the can bus system. These lights require no relays they are just plug and play. My Ram has 55 watt ballast for the projector lights and 5000k color. Also 35 watt ballast for fog lights with 5000k lights. They have been great no problems have them in for about 9 months .
