hey folks,

i have a 2014 Express with projector lamps and installed an HID kit from Retroshop a couple of years ago and all was fine until last year the passenger lamp went so i purchased a complete kit for one side.

i replaced the canbus adapter because of the terminals were corroded and that solved the problem.

well last week the driver side went out so i thought it could be the same thing but replacing the canbus adapter didn't work so i also replaced the ballast and then it worked until the next day. well out of frustration i replaced all the pieces including the bulb with the new 1/2 kit. after replacing the parts it all worked until the next day. the driver side is still not working.

i was hoping i could get some help from you folks. i also emailed Jeremy regarding my situation.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks Stony,
2014 express qc

Definitely wait for a response from Jeremy

With that said, when I was having issues with my 14 sport, it was the Mopar spec harness. Switched to the standalone Canbus Adapters and haven't had a problem since. (Mine read passenger side bulb out at all times, even when it was acutally on and there were times when the passenger side really would not turn on unless I turned the engine completely off and restarted it, turning the lights on and off did nothing)

I'm having the same issues. My driverside went out then my passenger side. I removed the whole hid kit and put in my stock halogen and both sides still won't work. My guess is the Retroshop 13+ adapters are bad but I don't have any quads or Duals to put on to see if they work. I might have to just buy a new pair of adapters. Not sure what to do.

I had a resistor go bad at my driver side and killed power to both lamps. Whatever it's worth to you.

I have a similar situation I bought my headlights, Halos and ,C bar and ,HIDs from Jeremy at retroshop. I had a bit of trouble getting them to work initially but talkin with Jeremy at retroshop we got them working. Now 8 months later both my HIDs stopped working my LEDs, Halos, turn signals and, C Bar work just fine. I checked all my connections and they look fine, checked the fuses and they are fine. All the grounds are connected to factory grounds and my heart's are connected to the battery terminal. I am getting power to the relay but not to the ballast any suggestions I'm not really getting anywhere with Jeremy at retroshop. I have a 2016 Ram 1500 Bighorn 5.7L any help out there? Let me add I have a set of Factory projector headlights
