Unfortunately I do not have enough for one of the kits from retroshop, you know being a college student making car payments :favorites68: :sorry:

I had a pair from DDM Tunning and all though they are cheap and didn't have the best customer service the kids lasted for me. And when they did **** out, and I did get a hold of them they replaced them because of their lifetime warranty.

If anyone else has a set from here or just could throw me their two cents that would be great.

First off it would be the H13 hi/low bulbs, correct?
And should i be getting error eliminators, harness', or anything else?

Thanks for the help.

In my 2007 I just ran a HID harness off of eBay. It was like $10 shipped. Worked perfect. You won't need error eliminators for a 07 cause it doesn't display dash messages. Fog lights are plug & play.

I know its usually easier to go the cheaper route, but in the end, you are much better off going with a quality kit. I learned long ago that it is much cheaper to do it right once than to go cheap and end up having issues that have to be fixed/replaced down the road. The RetroShop kit is only $150, is plug-n-play, and you know you will have the service here in the rare event that you ever have a problem. The DDM kit is going to cost you $50, plus a harness, and is going to take nearly 2 weeks to get here from China.

Go with Retroshop...you wont regret it.

No problem if you don't have $150 right now. My point was that it is better to save a little longer until you can afford the $150 than to rush the purchase on a lesser quality kit and then have to spend more down the road to replace/repair the cheaper kit.

When I was 18, I wish someone would have explained this to me as well because I wasted a ton of money on cheap parts because it was all I could afford at the time. In the end, I wish I would have held out a little longer and done it right the first time.

for the 07 you just need the basic HID kit but you will need the cancler kit as well, if not your HIDs will flicker, the fogs are just plug and play

Where did you buy them from? I'm sure they have a 14-30 day return policy

I would still just wait for the retroshop kit... You CAN do it with another kit (I've heard) but it costs more to do it that route and you won't have the same quality

you have to be able to do it with other kids no way there's just one. and I understand retro has the best I just don't have the money and Ido plan on eventually getting a set . I'm looking for a cheap bs pair which is offered by Ddm just to hold me over

You can do it with other but you will need: capacitors, resistors, a relay harness for each headlight, h13 xenon bulbs, can bus ballasts. Price all that out and I guarantee that it is gonna run more then a retro shop kit
