There is a few to get you on the right track.

Module #3 once you are in there and module #5 memory I think will have all your ventilated and heated seat options. Set them to yes and it will say complete, then initiate again and repeat till you have them all. Disconnect and shut down the truck, get out, lock the doors, and get back in. After a few of those all the settings will start to take place. It took 1 for the hard buttons to work, 2-3 till the radio soft keys showed up.

any ideas on the temp now? I get done and notice its cold out, but its 85 out. The truck is reading 91 degrees in the scan tool

Pulled the battery, and now the temp is right, and the seats are starting with the truck remote start.

If anyone needs any connectors or pins to do this mod, PM me. I have a whole bunch of extras including the 20 pin nonlocking connector for the drivers seat.

OK so I am currently attempting to do this mod on my truck. My truck is a 2014 2500 set with the cummins, I do not have the easy plug and plug like others, But I will be continuing the install on this in about 2 weeks, I am going to gather some more parts and I will do my best to keep everyone updated.

I think so far no one was really plug and play. I lucked out on wiring but the programming stopped me. Fun mod, kinks are weird, take your time. There are 55 pages of fun here to reference back to.

Yes I put the seats in the other day look and work geat, power functions all work and heat works. Only problem I got screwed in that they are apparently from a 4500 or a 5500 and have no airbags. Gonna be looking for another set.

Well that sucks, hopefully changing the settings works out.

Not worried, based on what I have seen so far everything is right in line with what I was expecting. This really was for me PNP for the most part only wiring I did was a clock-spring upgrade. All other wiring was there.

1. Swap seats-DONE
2. Upgrade clock spring (wheel was previously upgraded)-DONE
3. swap switch-bank-DONE
4. Mark seats and wheel present in ECU-WILL DO TONIGHT I HOPE

This has me wondering about Rick's experience, perhaps in the past when you had or tried to have other codes added for other things Like the mirrors or the RA4, they inadvertently added the comfort package codes or parts of them?

It'll work as soon as you add them. Took mine about 3 key cycles till they showed up in the radio, and 1 key cycle till the hard buttons worked for the cooled. Just a heads up

So I was told by a dodge service manager that I can't add any sales codes except the Mopar heated seat addon.

Guess I'll be externally wiring the steering wheel and rear heated seats.

go figure.

That isn't surprising at all. That's the reason why we've worked on alternative methods to adding features to the BCM. There's very few things that dealers are able to add.
