How To Add Heated/Ventelated seats and Heated Wheel to Express/Tradesman

I just picked up my truck a few hours ago and just loaded the CD have not plugged into truck yet. Is there anything I need to download, or do I just plug it in?

Did you activate the enhanced option? The code should have been in an email from KT.

Besides that, just have the obd2 plugged in and the cable plugged into the computer before you launch the software.

I never got an email with any activation code it says that the code is preprogramed into the proline vci connector?

I haven't either. So I was kinda curious about this. It seems we are on the same step.

It is. Have USB plugged in then start the installation.

Open the software. Go to help and then feature activation and see if the Chrysler feature is activated.

Mine did not come pre activated. I had to activate it with a code sent to me by KT.

That's pretty bitchen and gives me hope this is going to fly in my truck

So I cleared the dtc's and that didn't make a difference. The physical button acted the same. I could press the radio button, it would stay on for a few seconds and then turn off. I marked it present in ECU 5 and just like the vented seats it started working. So as of right now, everything works on my truck. Since it is below 40 here, the seats and steering wheel now kicks on automatically when the truck starts.

I can't figure out how to get the comfort settings on the radio, but that doesn't really matter to me. I still have some dtcs listed in the CSWM, but it says that it hasn't been tested since last clear, so hopefully they will go away soon. I'll check back in a few days. Regardless, did I mention everything works now!!!!!!

I've almost got my wiring ready to go. I plan to tackle next Sunday. My plan is to run up to the pdc. Just doing the seats for now, but I'm running the wires for the wheel. Still have to get the clock spring.

After it finds the VIN and you connect, you want to pick the BCM from the list of modules. Once you're connected to the BCM, one of the tabs is like "onboard tests" or something. It's like the third one from the right. Under that you pick "module configuration" from the dropdown list.

After you connect to the truck, pick the "Body Control Module" from the module list. Once it connects, go over to the "Test OnBoard System" tab and pick "Module Configuration" from the dropdown. You can then navigate all the options using the 3 buttons on the top right (you can't navigate the list directly with mouse or keyboard). The setting you want is under ECU 3. There is another under "Memory", but I've never touched the ones in there.

Something interesting to note. The settings in the BCM on mine have them off, but if I read the status from the CSWM it has vented front seats and heated rear seats enabled. This is nothing I set and nothing I can see how to change.
