Hi it is possible to have all code without the dealer?
How to put them? by obd2?
what is AE tool?

Me also i buy console cd-rom, laramie seat and wheel with clock spring. i install the seat and wheel later in this month, but if it possible to bypass the dealer, i'm :happy107:

my other project is to install rear park assit ewith harness and module.

In your case since your truck is a Sport the codes to add the heated/ ventilated seats and heated wheel should be in your available options list so the dealer could most likely add the codes. You can also get and OBD Genie from Infotainment. The AE tool is a tool we found that can add certain codes to your truck. It seems to work fine to add the heated/ventelated seats and heated wheel codes but we have had it corrupt some files when used for other things plus you need to be carful when using it to pay attention to what you have changed. I would recommend the dealer or an OBD genie in your situation.

It's clear. Thanks a lot!

the cost is 299$
it is possible to include rear cam?
you sold also a cam. it is better with the oem or your other? what is the difference?

We could definitely include the backup camera portion on the genie, we a couple different backup camera kits, https://www.infotainment.com/collec...-handle-backup-camera-kit?variant=33621371399 this lets you choose between an aftermarket tailgate camera or the mopar kit. We also have https://www.infotainment.com/collections/all/products/obd-genie-cg4-rear-view-camera-bundle which is a hideaway license plate camera.

Just an update of where I am with my seats & 8.4 conversion. I've got the seat codes added with the AE tool. I didn't mess with any of the other codes because of the issues with corruption. My conversion is up & working with 2 minor exceptions. I got the wrong Hvac controller. So when I get to the 7 speed it turns off. I have the correct Hvac controller on the way now. I also have my passenger seat heat that won't stay on. It shuts off after just a second. We've had a few people with strange issues with seats & the 8.4 conversion. Usually coming down to some part not being correct. My cooling works just fine in both seats. Anyway I am hoping when I swap my hvac controller. It may just start working again. I don't plan to waste to much time on it at this point. With summer & warm weather here. I really wouldn't be using it for 4-5 months anyway. I've put off getting the Hvac controller long enough. Really wasn't a huge issue that the 7th speed didn't work. Finally took the plunge hoping it may get my passenger seat working.

My passenger seat was working with the hard buttons before I did the 8.4 conversion

Finally got my seats into my Tradesmen and it works great. Mike and Mike over at M2 Mods made an awesome harness and I found some seats at a wreaking yard. Rick helped me pin them and throw them in. We fired up the truck and the heated and cooled seats worked with the buttons without programming. So nice going from the cloth manual to the electric heated and cooled. fdd04c52b7466421027e94ff4330e524.jpgac884c419dd7c14f929ebe4c21731771.jpg19f385e2d94242ff5c13cfc521305584.jpg

To the best of my knowledge these are the only seats besides mine that worked before we even added the codes. These seats where out of a 14 Sport and we installed them in a 15 Tradesman. My seats where out if a 14 Laramie and I installed them in my 14 Express. So far it seems like the 14 seats may be a little more compatible for the conversion but there haven't been enough installed yet to say for sure. As STecoD stated as usual M2Mods built him a beautiful harness.

Rick, my friend helped wire up my 14 laremie seats into my 14 express last night. Once it was all wired and plugged up the power works on both seats and the heater for the driver but the heater on passenger does not( it will illuminate and then turn right off). And the cooled seats don't work for either side. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. All of the wires have continuity.

The first thing I would recomend is to check your wiring from the passenger side seat to the drivers side gray seat plug. You can have just one wire off and it will not function properly it kind of sounds like that's what you have going on. Those are the pins 1 through 5 from your passenger side seat. There are schematics and diagrams in the beginning of this post that will help you verify you have them in the right place check that and let us know what happens. The 14 seats seem to be pretty successful for the mod so I really think your problem is somewhere in your wiring.

You may not need the genie in order for your seats to work we have had two14's that we've installed the heated ventilated seats successfully without adding codes. The fact that your driver side seat works and your passenger side does not would lean me towards you having a problem with the wiring between your passenger seat and your driver's seat.

In addition if you could post a picture of the three connectors, driver side yellow, driver side gray, and passenger side yellow showing the wiring, that would help us to see if the wires are right (assuming you used different color wires). If you pm me your email address, I will send you a PDF copy of the schematic since I haven't got around to updating the photobucket problem.

The link doesn't bring anything up but the main page and all I can see is radio and camera upgrade genies

https://www.obdgenie.com/collection...r-dodge-jeep-climate-package-programmer-c-clm

Before you buy, check with them to make sure that they have updated the genie with the correct ECU configurations.

Also what radio do you have in the truck? If it's an 8.4, did you convert or was it standard? If you converted, did you do the full conversion (harness, hvac module, etc)?

It's a little strange, I would have expected the vented seats to work on the driver side also since it is a 14-14 conversion.....

I have 13 seats in my 13 and the ventilated is dead on both sides, even with the BCM setup for them. I'm going to check the CSWM for codes when I have time. Maybe that'll shed some light on things.

I know this isn't about seats but since this is where all the voodoo happens I'd ask here.... anyone try and get the mirrors tilt down in reverse to work on their trucks????

I assume the name Philly means you are up north. If you were down in Florida Id lend a hand and my AE tool to help you out. Takes 45 seconds.

I can't remember if anyone has done it yet or not and don't feel like going back through this many pages. But, I was able to get the memory working today. Unfortunately, I discovered that the mirrors don't work with the memory system. I did some digging, and found my mirrors (Big Horn black textured power folding) don't have the wires coming out for the position signals. This tells me that since only Laramie and higher trim level have the memory mirrors, the Sport and Big Horn mirrors don't have the required sensors. This means that memory and tilt in reverse will not work unless you have the Laramie mirrors.

So how did you get this working! As well any ideas on the mirrors. The one option I wish my Bighorn had was the dip in reverse mirrors. Id rather have the dip mirrors over the memory seat, but if you got it working, I might as well too.

The mirrors aren't going to work unless you have Laramie ones. Even then, I can't say they'll work for sure since I don't have a set to test with. I can't get the option on my radio for the tilt down and I'm not sure what it defaults to, so that's another variable.

The seats are pretty straightforward. You need to wire the module to CAN-IHS and add the code under the memory section (the AE may or may not have that option depending on year). The tricky part is wiring in the switch. It actually runs to the door where the door module reads the state and sends it over the bus to the seat module. So, you'll need to add two wires to the boot in the door frame. I just connected it temporarily to make sure it worked before I went through that effort.

At this point I'm not sure if I'm going to bother. I may just forget about it or try to mount a switch to the door panel instead.
