Every bit of information as to what you need is right here in this thread. You can source the oem parts anywhere but you definitely need to contact @Mpgrimm2 from M2 Mods for the appropriate harnesses to link it all together. He is a vendor here on the forum and his knowledge and product are phenomenal when it comes to all mods. Think ahead as to what you want to have to accompany the radio swap, ie auto temperature control, auto high beam, even rain sensing wipers. If you select the correct harnesses the first time, you can add the options as you go.

Thanks very much - i will take a further read through the thread, but being new, im getting a little confused on the parts needed in Canada. Ideally i was kind of hoping for a one stop shopping list with everything i need or a link to purchase everything as a bundle. I will reach out to MPGRIMM as suggested.

Any iPhone app in Carplay! Trying out a new tweak called Carbridge that allows you use any app on your iPhone in Carplay. Not all apps will look good or function properly especially if they do not follow Apple's guidelines. This tweak requires a jailbroken iPhone. I use Unc0ver https://unc0ver.dev and it works great on my daily iPhone. If you Google and find a site that says they have Carbridge for unjailbroken iPhones it is a scam. No you don’t have a zoom function on a 2018 camera. I see the hitch and trailer connector to perfectly connect without a zoom function.
I am sure Ram will come out with a lot of innovative things in the upcoming years. However, I have a lot of payments left on my 2017 Ram 2500 Diesel, before I can consider looking at a new truck.

Fiancees Grand Cherokee radio. I'm assuming this is a Canadian radio? It was factory in the car. Maps are 3D but no HD radio.

Just figured i'd drop off my 2c as I was the first one to put one of these radios in a ram. The heated seat issue carries over to 15 also, not just 13-14s. The Durango Mount with a 30 second cut with a dremel will mount up fine using 2 screws in a ram. 2017 radios can be converted into 2018 radios. I have 3D printed adapters to use the 2018 Hub in a 13-17 lid with slight dremeling but will fit and look mostly stock.

If i understand your question correctly I dont believe you can, You need a radio with a 2018 Manufacture year. I apologize if im wrong but from the forums here I believe that is whats been stated.

Everybody knows that The ra are the The same minus the mount
But that’s changeable on the ra
They never use A UAs in the Jeep compass from the factory
They only use the UAq For a very short time before they switched over to the Delphi radio which has issues when I swiped ovefor a very short time before they switched over to the Delphi radio which has issues when its switched over

I can still sent texts on Androud Auto fine but has as anyone else noticed they don't get notified when they get a text on Android Auto and can't access there messages on Android Auto either? Mike G mentioned he is having the same problem so not sure if it's a glitch in the update. Radio is a UAQ and phone is a Galaxy S9. Checked all my permissions and even tried the wife's S9 Note and it doesn't work either.

Just to add to Ricks post...

Text notifications worked fine on my 2018 UAQ (v19.9) via Android auto and could be read out by AA in the last 2 weeks to (would also show up under the notification icon of AA).
Not sure when it changed/stopped working, but wondering if there was an AA update from Google that screwed it up (worked fine for 1.5 years since installed (With my GS9)... Could also be a phone update since both of us have the same Android phones.

You certain that's from a 2018? Is it a Canadian unit or non-nav?

In early testing, i tried a late model 2017 (MY_17.5) Compass USA UAQ PN: 68283240Ax (Application Version 18.7) in my 2013 ram before we figured out the correct USB Hub/wiring as well as blend door temp issues (fixed with 18 HVAC module or ATC wiring/sensors)...

and ran into some issues (stuck on KM/h vs MP/h, didn't recognize key in run position)... but my 13 ram never worked correctly with ANY 2016 ram radios either (tried 3); all other 13-18 ram radios worked fine.
@DeereGuy had better luck with it in his 2016 truck but there were still some issues that may have been helped with a newer SW/Application version (v18.7) that we never found from a compass VIN.

Testing never went further with that radio and it ended up as a parts donor to fix a ram UAQ with a broken screen/mount.
