how to turn Ram 1500 mirror lights into running lights?

Is there a way to make these lights on the mirror running lights when driving. They only turn on if i open the door or unlock the truck when it’s off.

Are they blinkers? I have a 2018 2500 with blinkers in my mirrors and convert them to also be on when headlights are on.

You can buy several different aftermarket mirrors that have running lights. I installed a set of towing mirrors on mine that have running lights. This required running a new wire from the mirrors up to the fuse block under the hood and splicing into a circuit to provide power when the headlights are on. Look up Boost Auto or Sanooer.
Regarding the comment about legality, keep in mind these aren't driving lights that are lightening up the road and blinding other drivers by any means. They are more like a marker light.

When you watch the video, you can make your own. I just bought a 18guage wire red. Already had connectors. I like the molex connectors a buddy of mine had. It looks OEM because it using the connector pin slots in the door connectors. So if the door ever needs to be removed. Just have to disconnect the connector over cutting the wiring. You don't necessarily have to cut any wiring. Idk why they make you do that.

Post is old and a 2 and done profile. And the lights he was referring to are the puddle lights, I'm guessing to match his rock crawler lights. His location is not far from me, and knowing that area, I'm sure his Mommy and Daddy have bought him something newer and nicer

Still for anyone then running the wire through the boot, you realize how many people come back to these posts still? I found a post from 6 yeats ago to install a oem push start in my truck.
