Lol, what a roller coaster indeed. What made them change their mind? I'm disappointed that there's no pics of your truck submerged.
Spool, they paid the dealer for repairs today... They are not totalling contrary to what they said.

SO lessons learned. Stop treating your high dollar truck as a beat down mud truck. If you want to go mudding, build a specific built rig to do so.
No lesson learned. This is my offroad rig. My Durango is my DD. Even if it were my daily driver, I'd still go offroad. not everyone likes there trucks to be a pavement princess like yours. More importantly, the only thing wrong with this situation is i made the mistake of being over competent and misjudging the depth of the water. Not the trucks fault i took it beyond what it could handle. So i guess technically, if anything, I learned to be more logical when it comes to standing water![]()

I still laugh at the guys on this site that openly admit their lifted trucks with mud tires are garage queens. Then why lift it? Or my favorite, the guys that ask what kind of snow tires they should run in the winter.![]()
