Ignition has no power

This issue just showed up for me. No lights, gauge will flutter between 0 to 1k rpm sometimes when key is on and horn won’t work. Tried jumping and tested battery

Leave your ignition on and turn you wiper blades on and mess with the yellow wire and positive of the battery and see if the wiper will go off. If they do then you found the problem. You can use something different than the wipers but that’s what I used

You got some serious corrosion on your battery cables, I would replace the positive&negative cables and clean the battery posts, also have you checked all of your fusible links, I know the starter has several and also the alternator, and some coming off of the battery.

He might want to check fluid levels inside th battery. Top off rarely hurts.

I am having the same issue as the OP. I tried the suggestions listed here with no success. What else can I try?

Solved for me. The issues was the Ignition Starter Switch (key slot in the dash). Once I replaced that I had no issues starting the truck. The part I bought was at rock auto at the link below, part number MOPAR 68271986AC

Just had the same issue with my girlfriends dodge, the shifter knob had a dim light and had tail lights. Everything else had no power. Called a buddy who works at a dodge dealership he told me to touch the battery wires together for 20 seconds to discharge the system. I did that and it fired right up no issues so far. Going on a day now
