installing balancer

just wasted a weekend , no mone said you needed a special tool , balancer bolt wont reach , rented install kit from auto zone , and it doesnt fit , I will have to go find a m14 1.5 pitch 8" bolt I guess

For the 5.7 you need the Miller tool installer with bearing, I can assume the 4.7 has a similar set-up. You could bake it at 225 for a while and see if it oven mitts on there.

On my 5.7 I just boiled it for 20 and it slid right on. Maybe they would work for you.

ok no long bolts I could only find a 3' piece of all thread guess I will boil then use the all thread

alright boiled it then used all thread , till original bolt could reach ,went on without problem , now I have a $27.00 piece of metric all thread for 2 min work
